Please note that there is no insurance cover in respect of non-members after three trial walks, or people visiting the UK who are not members, residents or studying here, or people with no interest in joining The Ramblers. While walks leaders are not required to have formal first aid certificates and ramblers are expected to carry their own basic first aid items, everyone can build their knowledge through the St John Ambulance training videos Here.

Walks Archive
Our walks archive can be accessed through the Legacy Site. This contains details of our previous walks, back to 2002. You will need to login (old NELR login details work). In the Our Walks tab you can use the search buttons to see details of past walks.
In Case of Emergency (ICE) Card
This card is where you can record your important medical information and emergency contact details. You can carry it on walks so that if there's an accident or something goes wrong, the walk leader or the emergency services can easily find any information they might need. You can download and print a card Here or you can make your own.
